A Journey of Faith, Family, and Finding My Voice
I’m a Xennial mom of 11, navigating the beautiful chaos of parenting across different ages and stages. Life in my home is a blend of being homeschooled as an early-generation homeschooler and supporting my children in public school, balancing both worlds in a way that works for our family.
Faith has always been central to my journey. I have been in Reformed theology since my children were young, and for a long time, I embraced traditional roles within that framework. But as I started seeking answers about abuse within the church, I found myself wrestling with long-held beliefs—leading me to embrace egalitarianism. This shift wasn’t just theological; it was deeply personal, reshaping how I see faith, leadership, and the role of women in the body of Christ.
Professionally, I work as a social worker in foster care, walking alongside children and families in some of the most difficult moments of their lives. It’s hard, meaningful, and deeply humbling work.
This space is where I process it all—parenting, faith shifts, advocacy, and the untangling of a past shaped by a “cult without walls.” It’s a place for honesty, reflection, and growth.
If you’ve ever questioned, wrestled, or redefined your faith while juggling the demands of everyday life, you’re not alone. I’m glad you’re here.
